巴基斯坦中部旁遮普邦(Punjab)布哈卡尔市(Bhakkar)警方在什叶派与逊尼派发生流血冲突后实行了宵禁令。旁遮普邦警局一位发言人表示，从本周五开始爆发的冲突导致6名逊尼派人士和5名什叶派人士死亡。

警方在多地实施了为期三天的宵禁令。在布哈卡尔市禁止举行具有政治性质的示威和集会。地区当局已下达指令调查冲突爆发的原因。巴基斯坦的人口中大部分是逊尼派，什叶派人士占总人口的约20%。
