Australia full of confidence after the "surprise" victory over Japan and Brazil, possibly, a bit nervous because of their all but perfect performance against the Croats.

Both teams have fans in yellow and the stadium is packed with them as the teams get ready to enter the pitch.
The crowd roars as the teams, Australia in their away blue strips, come on.
The camera sets on Ronaldo for a long while during the anthem. Nothing is to read in his face though.

Ze Roberto tries the first cross from left. Brazil have taken a grip on things already, not leaving much room for the Aussies to leave their half.

Ronaldo flicks the ball over his head just outside the box to Kaka who shoots half volley. The ball almost licks the outside of the net.

First longer moment for the Aussies on offensive half ends with a long shot on goal from Viduka.

The Aussies break Ronaldo outside the box and counter but are stopped themselves just over the mid line.

Lots of room on the Brazilian right leaves Chipperfield free to charge. It ends with a corner.

Kaka crosses from the left and the ball reaches Ronaldinho who chips it in to Ronaldo. The shot is deflected over the line.

The frustrated scorer hits the ball towards goal long after the whistle had him offside.

With the two teams leaving the pitch there's no question the Aussies are the happier lot. Their fans cheer while the Brazilians go into the tunnel asking themselves how they'll be able to break through the Socceroos' tight line in the second half.

The Aussie is free with the goalie after a counter but is too slow. Ze Roberto manages to break.
