Myanmar's pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi was freed from on Nov. 13 after seven years under house arrest. Suu Kyi, who has been incarcerated by Myanmar's regime for 15 of the past 21 years, returned to work shortly after in an attempt to unite the country's splintered pro-democracy movement and push for a relaxation of Western sanctions.
