Brazil's air force says it has found airplane wreckage hundreds of kilometres out at sea

Brazil's air force may have found wreckage from Air France flight 4-47. The Airbus 330 went missing on Monday en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris's Charles de Gaulle Airport with 228 people on board. +++LM-REIN+++ The debris was spotted floating about 650 kilometres northeast of the islands of Fernando de Noronha in the Atlantic Ocean. But an air force spokesman said it was too early to confirm whether it came from the Airbus.
