中國周五出台"加強網路訊息保護的決定草案"。十一屆全國人大常委會第三十次會議審議通過了該草案,其內容包括網路用戶對供應商以及電信提供實名登記。中國政府稱,這一規定旨在保護網路用戶的個人訊息並打擊製造垃圾郵件者。北京在商務和教育領域大力倡導網路的使用,但同時禁止被官方視為"顛覆政府"的言論,並屏蔽了多個網站。
