Volkswagen is at the focus of attention on two fronts. On Monday, V-W announced it was increasing its stake in the Swedish truck maker, Scania. A short while later, Porsche reported that it intended to buy a controlling stake in VW. Both announcements rocked the car sector on Monday, and are increasing speculation of further mergers and acquisitions.
