US Vice President Joe Biden condemns Israel for undermining trust with its new Jerusalem building plan

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden says Israel's approval of 1,600 new Jewish homes in disputed East Jerusalem is undermining faith in any possible resumption of peace talks. He voiced his criticism after a meeting with Palestinian President Machmoud Abbass in Ramallah. Biden arrived from Jeruselem after apparent embarrasment tied to the Israeli decison to expand settlements, which was also been condemned by the White House.
