US civil rights icon John Lewis dies aged 80

US Democratic Congressman and icon of the civil rights movement, John Lewis, has died of pancreatic cancer aged 80. Lewis was the last survivor of the Big Six civil rights activists, a group led by the reverend Martin Luther King Junior.
