TT: Crisis in Zimbabwe -issue to discuss at the EU-Africa summit - je 07.12.2007

Another issue to discuss at the EU-Africa summit is the crisis in Zimbabwe. In the 27 years since independence from Britain, President Robert Mugabe´s rule has become increasingly autocratic. In recent years, he´s used violent repression to deal with political rivals. As many as four million Zimbabweans have now fled the country. Thousands have ended up in neighboring Mozambique.
