Welcome back. French-Colombian politician Ingrid Betancourt and fourteen other hostages were freed from captivity on Wednesday in a dramatic rescue operation by Colombian troops. Betancourt, a former presidential candidate - was the most high profile of the hostages being held by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC. Those freed in Wednesday's operation were immediately flown to a military base in Bogota, where they were greeted by members of their families.
