Update from December 19, 2023:

After the first broadcast of this edition of Tomorrow Today, a volcano in Iceland erupted, sending lava spewing into the air and opening an approximately four-kilometer-long fissure just a few kilometer away from the fishing town of Grindavik. The volcano erupted following several weeks of earthquakes in the Reykjanes peninsula, about 50 kilometers south of the capital Reykjavik. The tremors opened deep fissures in the ground around Grindavik, splitting streets and opening cracks in the walls of buildings. The region has been evacuated.
