Third "Islam Conference" in Berlin - je 13.03.2008 18

German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schäuble has been meeting with Muslim groups in Berlin for the third so-called "Islam Conference". The aim of the annual gathering is to improve the integration of Germany's 3 and a half million Muslim residents, most of them of Turkish background. Many live in largely separate urban communities and a new survey shows that a majority of them feel unwanted in the country.
