The Russian capital Moscow is experiencing another day of severe smog as the result of wildfires in the region. Poor visibility led to several planes being diverted away from city airports. Weather experts predict winds will continue to fan smoke into Moscow. There is also concern that the blazes could spread radioactive contamination from the area hit by the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The fires have now claimed at least 52 lives.
