Potato cake

Ingredients:
1000 g firm potatoes
5 eggs
white pepper, salt, other seasonings according to taste
2 large onions, chopped
300 g feta cheese, cut into small chunks
butter or oil to grease the casserole dish
3 bread rolls
Directions:
Soak the bread rolls in the milk. Peel and grate the potatoes, and mix them with the beaten eggs and seasonings.
Add the softened bread rolls to the mixture. Add the onions and the feta cheese.
Pour the mixture into the greased form and bake at 200°C for 60-70 minutes.
If you like, you can replace the feta cheese with chunks of mettwurst, a German minced-meat sausage.
Serve the potato cake with apple sauce.
