German Defence Minister, Franz Josef Jung has warned militants in Afghanistan that German troops will fight back if attacked. He made the comments after the deaths of three Bundeswehr soldiers. However, the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Armed forces, Reinhold Robbe, warned about playing down the dangers of the deployment.
