The Czech Senat voted in favour of the Lisbon Treaty

Czech President Vaclav Klaus says he is in no hurry to ratify the European Union's Lisbon Treaty even though it was approved Wednesday by the upper house of his country's parliament. If ratified by all 27 member countries, the treaty would reform decision making within the EU. Despite the fact that his country currently holds the EU Presidency, Vaclav Klaus remains a fierce eurosceptic.
