Soccer and Brazilian culture

The biggest sporting event in the world, the World Cup in Brazil, will kick off in 2014.
It would be great if you could provide something on My DW about the history of soccer and every World Cup – from the original idea leading up to the latest details from Brazil. As far as culture is concerned, why don’t we research Brazilian culture? After all, it has a lot more to offer than just Samba music and Carnival.
