Same-sex marriage law takes effect in Thailand

Thailand has become the first southeast Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage. The move comes as the culmination of a decades-long fight for Thai LGBTQ couples. Hundreds celebrated the historic occasion with a mass wedding in Bangkok.
