Raclette Rösti from Switzerland

Recipe for Raclette Rösti
Ingredients for one person:
250 grams floury potatoes
25 grams butter
salt and pepper
150 grams smoked or chili raclette, in slices
Preparation:
Peel the raw potatoes and grate finely. Heat the butter in the pan, add the potatoes and season with salt. Keep turning the potato pieces to cook them on all sides. Cover and continue cooking on medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Then shape the rösti into a patty and cook it uncovered on high heat for another 5 to 10 minutes until it is crisp. Don't stir it anymore!
Before serving cover the rösti with the slices of smoked or chili raclette and melt it under the grill.
Decorate the rösti with gherkins and pickled pearl onions.
