Protest in Serbia: the storming of the US embassy in Belgrade - Journal (english) 22.02.2008 08:00 UTC

There's been a strong condemnation from both the United States and the UN Security Council of the storming of the US embassy in Belgrade. This after hundreds of Serb protesters - angered by Kosovo's secession from Serbia - attacked the embassy and set it on fire on Thursday evening. A charred body - believed to be a protester - was later found in the building. Several other embassies in the Serbian capital were also vandalised.
