Neue Islam-Debatte sorgt in Deutschland für Aufregung

#Welcome back. Along with other European governments - from Sweden to the Netherlands - Germany's is debating the role of Islam in Europe, tighter immigration policy and how to integrate Muslims already in the country. That debate heated up at the weekend when Chancellor Angela Merkel said that multiculturalism had failed completely. The German President is in Turkey today on a five day state visit. A month ago he sparked some controversy himself - at the other end of the debate - by saying that Islam was a part of Germany.
