German coach Jürgen Klinsmann insisted Friday he was confident ahead of Saturday's international friendly against Turkey despite the absence of captain Michael Ballack with flu. "We've played twice recently without (Ballack), both against Argentina and the team compensated in an extraordinary way for the absence of their leader," said Klinsmann of their two draws against the Argentineans this year. "His tasks have to be shared among a few people and I want the team to answer certain critics again." Klinsmann is expected to call on Werder Bremen's Tim Borowski to step in for Ballack who is also uncertain for their friendly against China on October 12 in Hamburg, Germany.
