VideoassistentenApril 7, 2010

The Katyn massacre is a national trauma for the people of Poland. The Soviet Union deliberately targetted elite Polish forces taken prisoner. Decades later, many relatives of the victims say Russia has simply not gone far enough to admit its guilt and apologize in full. It wasn't until 1990, that the Russians admitted the massacre actually took place. 70 years on, the pain for many Poles is still fresh.
