ISS space walk
August 10, 2015For more than six hours the two cosmonauts have upgraded hardware on the station's outside. Among other tasks, they retrieved an external experiment, replaced parts of an antenna and photographed the exterior of the Russian modules. This allows for later checks for possible damage by cosmic rays and particles. Padalka and Kornienko also cleaned a window that has been tainted by soot from rocket-engines over the years.
