Israeli President Shimon Peres makes a landmark address to the German parliament on Holocaust Memorial Day

Israel's president Shimon Peres has addressed the German parliament as part of the official commemorations of Holocaust Memorial Day. Today marks the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the largest extermination camp - Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland - on January 27th, 1945. In his address to German lawmakers, Shimon Peres said younger generations must not be allowed to forget the holocaust.
