Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia look set to settle a bizarre name dispute that has bedeviled relations between the two neighbouring states for the past 27 years. It’s not the first time they have come close to a solution. But this time, the prize of compromise is huge for Macedonia, making the prospect of a deal more probable. Anthee Carassava reports from Athens.
