In Zimbabwe, the ongoing political crisis, food shortages, and economic hardship have sparked an exodus into neighboring countries. The flood of refugees has become a humanitarian crisis. South Africa is now at least temporary home to nearly two million Zimbabweans. Many of the migrants are poor, and have nearly given up hope for a peaceful resolution to the crisis at home.
