Welcome Back. The shooting rampage in the town of Winnen-den has caused shock and horror in Germany. 15 people shot dead by a seventeen year old .. with no apparent motive. This latest incident brings back disturbing memories of a similar shooting in the east German town of Erfurt seven years ago. That was the first ever attack of its kind in Germany - there too, a student went on a shooting spree.. and 16 people died in a hail of bullets. Then - as now. .people are at a loss to explain what unleashed this mindless violence.
