The World Bank says global economic output totaled nearly 60- Ttrillion Dollars at the end of 2006. In its latest World Development report, the bank also says that developing countries now account for 40- percent of that growth. The World Bank and International Monetary Fund met in Washington DC for their annual Spring Meeting on the weekend. Despite advances in trade with developing countries, rising food prices are creating growing unrest in many regions.
