Welcome back. Delegates from 49 countries are meeting in Prague through Tuesday for an international conference focusing on efforts to recover stolen Holocaust assets. The conference is being sponsored by the Czech Federation of Jewish communities and the Czech government among others. While previous meetings have focused more on the question of looted art, this one brings up issues like the restitution of private property and the welfare needs of Holocaust survivors. There are also working groups in a number of areas, including Holocaust education.
