Thousands of pagers that Hezbollah had distributed to its members in an attempt to curb Israeli intelligence penetration exploded across Lebanon on Tuesday. US counterterrorism analyst Matthew Levitt told DW that it's likely the devices were tampered with ahead of their procurement.
