Heidi's Almost Perfect Legs
October 1, 2004In Hamburg to promote an epilator for German electronics company Braun, Klum showed off her legs and told reporters that they'd been insured by her employer.
"Together, they're worth £2.2 million (€3.18 million, $3.95 million)," she said, adding that the company had insured them for that amount after a London auction house had estimated their value. But according to company officials, the supermodel's legs have "only" been valued at €1.6 million.
Should she ever intend to sell them, she'd probably get less for one of them because of a small scar from a fall, Klum said without revealing which leg bore the blemish.
"They took off points for that," she added.
Despite all that, Klum -- one of the world's most sought after models -- said she's not planning on getting paranoid about protecting her legs.
"I hope I don't have to (be more careful)," said Klum, who recently gave birth to her first daughter. "I want to go skiing this winter."
