Greece pitches for a deal in European capitals

Greece's new anti-austerity government wants a new, more lenient deal from its creditors.

This week, the country's finance minister is on a charm offensive to try and convince the rest of Europe that what's good for Athens is good for its creditors. He began in France on Sunday. On Monday, he was in Britain and Tuesday he'll be in Rome. A meeting with Germany, the biggest proponent of austerity, is in the cards.
