Golden Camera awards

Actress Renee Zellweger received Germany's Golden Camera award for best international actress at a televised ceremony in Berlin on Saturday evening.
Zellweger, who rose to fame in the films "Jerry Maguire" and "Bridget Jones' Diary", was credited by awards judges from German television listings magazine Hörzu for her ability to appear "natural, authentic and convincing" in her roles.
Her appearances in the 2010 road movie "My Own Love Song" as well as the horror film "Case 39" were cited as the latest examples of Zellweger's work to impress judges.
The award for best international actor went to John Travolta, who received a standing ovation from the crowd. Travolta was honored with the award, said judges, for the strength of his selection of roles.
The role for best German actor went to Ulrich Tukur from the long-running German television crime series "Tatort" (Crime Scene), which was also chosen as the best crime drama. Best actress on the domestic scene was Anna Loos, who played a role in the drama about care for the elderly "Wohin mit Vater?" (What should we do with father?).
Song for Europe, award for Lena
There was also good news for Germany's Eurovision Song Contest winner Lena Meyer-Landrut, singer of the winning entry "Satellite", who scooped the award in the German music category.
The movie "Zivilcourage" (Civil Courage), about the impact of rising crime and ethnic tensions in a Berlin neighborhood, landed the prize for Best German television film.
Lifetime achievement awards went to American pop singer Gloria Gaynor, for music, and "Back to the Future" star Michael J Fox, for his acting.
Readers of the TV guide nominate actors, actresses, films and entertainers for the awards with the winners selected by a panel.
