Germany's foreign minister is in Afghanistan and says reconstruction efforts there are working - je 25.07.2008

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has arrived in Afghanistan to visit German troops there. The first stop on his four-day trip is Herat, the third-largest Afghan city. German peacekeeping troops are helping to rebuild the region after years of war.
