German Chancellor Angela Merkel has laid out her austerity budget for 20-11 thru 20-14 - promising it will promote economic growth while protecting the stability of the Euro. The plan includes deep cutbacks for the unemployed and for a broad restructuring of the country's military. The cut backs begin next year and are earmarked initially at over 11 Billion Euros, increasing steadily each year until they reach 32 Billion Euros in 20-14.
