A porn star who claims she had sex with Donald Trump sued the US president on Tuesday to invalidate a nondisclosure agreement over their alleged affair.
Trump's lawyer has denied the president ever had an affair with Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. Trump has been married to Melania Trump since 2005.

The details of the case:
- Clifford filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior court.
- The suit alleges that a non-disclosure agreement signed by Clifford and Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, days before the 2016 US presidential election is invalid because Trump did not personally sign it.
- Documents also say that Clifford wanted to go public about her alleged sexual encounters with Trump in the run-up to the election.
- The suit alleges Trump and Cohen "aggressively sought to silence Ms. Clifford as part of an effort to avoid her telling the truth, thus helping to ensure he won the Presidential Election."
- Cohen said in February that he had personally paid Clifford $130,000 (€105,000) but did not say what for, only that the payment was "lawful."
Stormy's story: Clifford first spoke about having an affair with Trump in an interview with the US magazine In Touch. The actress said a sexual relationship shortly after Trump's wife Melania gave birth to their son. The magazine said the former porn star subsequently passed a lie detector test.
