June 3, 2015Eurozone unemployment fell to 11.1 percent in April, the EU statistics agency Eurostat reported Wednesday.

The agency added the lowest overall jobless rate was recorded in Germany where 4.7 percent of the working population was unemployed in April. By contrast, Greece had the bloc's highest rate of over 25 percent.
In the wider 28-member European Union, unemployment stood at 9.7 percent in the same month, unchanged from revised figures for March - meaning that 23.5 million people were out of work.
