And we're starting off with a milestone in automobile history: it was on July 16th, 1909 that August Horch founded Audi in the eastern German town of Zwickau - and over the past 100 years the firm has been through many a change. Expanded into Auto Union in the 1930s - the company moved to Ingolstadt in Bavaria after the war, where it was finally restored to good old Audi in 1985! Since then the company has revamped its image from the stuffy businessman's choice to the progressive lifestyle vehicles of today - euromaxx reports.
