NATO ambassadors are in Georgia today to discuss the country's bid to join the alliance. President Mikhail Saakashvili has urged NATO to accelerate his country's integration. But NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hope Scheffer was cautious in his remarks and called on the country to stay firmly on a democratic course. His visit comes as EU foreign ministers approved sending monitors to Georgia - and pledged half a Billion euros to help rebuild the country.
