The deaths of three German soldiers in Afghanistan last week has stoked the debate over Germany's military role in the north of the country. Critics say soldiers are not properly trained or equipped -- and fear casualties will continue to rise if the government doesn't take action. Eight Bundeswehr soldiers were injured, four have been flown back to Germany for treatment.
