Chinese invest in German solar industry

China is increasingly taking a stake in German firms.

Last year, Chinese industrial giants Chint bought the German solar panel maker Conergy, which was facing bankruptcy. The move saved 200 jobs and now, under the new name Astronergy, the company is looking towards a bright future on the global market.
