As China increases exports to Europe, it is investing heavily in transportation infrastructure to help get its goods to customers. China is the biggest customer of the Hamburg Harbor. Some 400 Chinese companies have setup shop in Hamburg to capitalize on the increase in trade. The number of Chinese workers and investors in Hamburg has jumped to 10- thousand.
