Chinese President Hu Jintao has promised his country will stand by the pledges made when it was awarded the Olympics... both China and the IOC have come under fire over Internet censoriship. Contrary to previous agreements, up until Friday, websites including DWtv have been blocked. The IOC claims the issue has now been settled, and journalists have unrestricted access to the Internet. Critics say this latest disagreement is just a further sign that China is not living up to its pledge to respect human rights and press freedom. +++MAZ+++
