Getting the economy back on track was top of the agenda in the German parliament Wednesday.. with lawmakers debating the government's 50 Bbillion Euro economic stimulus plan. Angela Merkel's coalition says the package of tax cuts and spending programmes will help Germany emerge from the financial crisis stronger. But opponents say it will only create a huge public debt.
