Bundesregierung will Imame an deutschen Hochschulen ausbilden

#The German government has announced plans to fund new Islamic studies departments in three universities. The courses, taught in German, will prepare imams and religion teachers to work in German schools and mosques. German Education Minister Annette Schavan says German-trained professionals will be better able to promote integration within muslim communities than those trained abroad.
