Bayern Munich 3 VFL Bochum 3

Munich's Bundesliga woes continued on Saturday when they had to settle for a surprise 3-3 draw at home to Bochum. Bayern took an early lead through Belgian defender Van Buyten in the 15th minute, and Bochum equalised through Turkish striker Sinan Kaloglu in the 30th.

But Bayern regained control. Their Brazilian veteran Zé Roberto scored 2 goals (45, 68’) to put them 3-1 up.

The match looked over, but Bayern showed slack defending and Bochum staged a great comeback to equalise through goals by Christoph Dambrowski and Dennis Grote.

Bayern are now in the bottom half of the table. Coach Klinsmann will be under even more pressure now after three games without a win in the Bundesliga

Stuttgart 4 Bremen 1

Bayern though will be relieved that Bremen suffered a surprise defeat at Stuttgart. Sami Khedira and Robert Hilbert the scorers along with Christian Traesch and Martin Lanig. Diego got Bremens consolation goal. It is a really topsy-turvy season for Bremen -- difficult to say exactly how they will fare this season.

Bayer Leverkusen 0 Hertha Berlin 1

Here is a real surprise score line! Andrey Voronin got the winner against his former club a few minutes before the final whistle

Mönchengladbach 1 Cologne 2

The battle between the two promoted sides. There was a lot of crowd trouble before the game, so the kick-off had to be delayed.

Cologne took the three points: Novakovic getting the winner two minutes from time with a wonderful free-kick.

Hoffenheim 2 Frankfurt 1

And the Bundesliga`s new leaders are tiny club Hoffenheim. They beat Frankfurt 2-1. Senegalese striker Demba Ba scored both goals for Hoffenheim.

The scene of the match must be the goal-line clearance by Austrian defender Andreas Ilbertsberger who headed backwards off the line whilst in mid air; A thrilling scene.

Energie Cottbus 1 – Hamburg 2

Cottbus looked like it would continue the upswing it began last week in Berlin by holding one of the league’s top clubs to a draw.

But Mladen Petric, who is increasingly making his presence felt in Hamburg, scored his sixth goal in the last four games with a 90th minute header.

It was Hamburg’s first ever win at Cottbus.

Schalke 2 – Wolfsburg 2

Kevin Kuranyi, the Schalke striker who had cut a forlorn figure as of late after a string of bad performances, broke out of his slump in this game.

First, he put his team in front in the 20th on a neat flick that wrong-footed Wolfsburg keeper Diego Benaglio. Then, after Wolfsburg had taken the lead through second half goals from Edin Dzeko and Brazilian newcomer Caiuby, Kuranyi poked in his second in injury time. The assist came from none other than goalie Manuel Neuer!

Dortmund 1 – Hannover 1

Dortmund opened the scoring in the 16th minute through a hammer of a Nelson Valdez goal, and could have been two up minutes later, had the linesman been doing his job correctly.

Mikkael Forssell got one back for Hannover in the 25th minute, scoring even as he fell down in front of goal.
