Berlin has launched a new image campaign aimed at attracting tourists, talent and investment and boosting citizens' sense of pride in their city. Some critics say the choice of an English-language slogan, "Be Berlin", automatically excludes many of those citizens because they simply don't understand it. But the city's mayor says the motto is aimed at projecting the city's image well beyond the country's borders.
