A bomb blast on the Spainish island of Mallorca kills two police officers

Spanish police say they have found an unexploded bomb on the island of Majorca, following a blast earlier Thursday that killed two police officers. In what appears to have been the second major attack by the Basque separatist group ETA in two days,the device exploded outside offices run by the Civil Guard paramilitary police in Palmanova... just a few kilometres from the palace where Spain's royal family is spending its summer vacation.
