10th anniversary of the World Day Against Child Labour

Childe welfare advocates are warning that the global recession could result in greater exploitation of child labour. A new report by the International Labour Organization says girls are particularly vulnerable. It's feared the financial crisis will lead to further abuses of children especially in poor countries as families resort to desperate measures in order to survive. Friday marks the 10th anniversary of the World Day Against Child Labour.
